Within just a few years of opening Aqua Palace Spas and Pools, owner Scott Rolenc was already earning industry respect for his ability to design and build extraordinary swimming pools. In 2002, Aqua Palace was honored as a Gold Winner in the NSPI International Awards of Excellence for an ingenious home pool Scott completed in Emerson, Iowa. That would be the first of many awards and recognitions Scott has since received as a professional pool builder.
Scott Rolenc has a remarkable ability to visualize the ideal pool, deck and landscaping to fit a homeowner’s family and their backyard—and then build that vision into a reality. "This is something I just love to do", explains Scott, "especially to take a project from start to finish."
Because no two customers and backyards are alike, Scott goes into every project open for any possibility. "You can’t mold the customer. Every family and every yard is so unique I don’t want to be tied down to doing one kind of pool, deck or look”. Aqua Palace has the versatility to build all shapes and sizes of in-ground swimming pools with vinyl liner, fiberglass or shotcrete—as well as to construct custom above-ground pools.
The investment to properly build a pool and deck is too great to settle only for something of the ordinary. Unfortunately, that’s all many other pool contractors have to offer. “This isn’t just putting in a rectangle pool and pouring concrete around it”, continues Scott, “this is about transforming a backyard into something specially made for a family to enjoy and use for as long as they own the home.” To the Omaha Pool Builder, every project is a new mission to strive for excellence and the exceptional. “These pools are my legacy, because they’re what I’m going to leave behind.”

Complete Design and Build ContractorIn an era when it’s becoming all too common for builders to hire out sub-contractors on their jobs, Scott Rolenc has taken Aqua Palace in a different direction. Aqua Palace is a turn-key contractor with its own employees to build pools and decks as well as do complete landscaping. “You have many people going into the pool building business today who just work off a list of sub-contractors to do the actual work,” Scott states, “For me, that’s too much reliance on people you have no control over to either show up on time or do the job right.” Scott not only provides the layout and master plan for his customer’s backyard pool, he brings his own crew of workers to make it happen. There is little or no subcontracting ever used on his pool projects. This keeps Scott in full control to deliver exactly what he envisioned for the homeowner. |
